I asked about this a while ago and was told by FastLane Helpdesk that the spreadsheet can't be used with Office 2007, and they didn't have a plan in place to update it.  The IT gurus at my institution at the time figured out how to allow the NSF spreadsheet to open and save in Excel 2003 so we could continue to use it, but I have no idea how they managed it.  I'm at another institution now, and I haven't been able to get the spreadsheet to work, or find someone in IT who can create the workaround for me.

Frustrating.

We are having a similar problem using the NSF template in Excel 2007, and are not able to use the macros (add'l personnel, add'l year, etc.).  We have macro function turned on as well as the VBA indicator under Excel security.

Have others run into this?
