Old Dominion University Research Foundation is seeking an experienced
pre-award services professional for hands on operation of high speed,
high volume grant and proposal unit in support of faculty of Old
Dominion University.  Position will be responsible for the development
and submission of a large volume of research proposals to various
federal, state and private funding sources. Serves as a senior level
advisor for pre-award requirements, compliance issues, and acts as a
resource on grant and contract regulations. Interprets requirements with
staff, principle investigators and management on a daily basis.
Position will supervise and coordinate the daily activities of one
additional support professional.

Requires a Bachelor degree and five years related experience,
preferably in a University environment, with extensive and demonstrable
knowledge of pre-award processes, federal regulations governing grant
and contract administration including extensive knowledge of OMB
Circulars A-21, A-110, A-133 and the Federal Acquisition Regulations
(FAR).  Previous supervisory experience in a related setting desired.
