At the Desert Research Institute we have a annual award for
faculty/scientist who have made great contributions to science.  The
Nevada Medal (as it is called) is awarded through a nomination process.
We currently don't have an easy method to get information on the
nomination process to Vice Presidents for Research at universities and
colleges.  Does anyone know if there is a professional association for
Vice Presidents for Research?  If there is such an organization, do you
have a contact name?
