ASSISTANT DIRECTOR - SPONSORED PROGRAMS

The Division of Sponsored Programs at the University of Iowa has an opening for an Assistant Director for Contracts Administration. The individual selected to fill this position will have primary responsibility for reviewing proposals and negotiating research contracts and other sponsored agreements with the government and private sponsors. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work with faculty in diverse fields. An advanced degree and legal or contract training or experience are required or an equivalent combination of education or experience. Desirable qualifications include university research administration experience and familiarity with the federal acquisition regulations. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
