It seems the core question is how do you communicate the value of what you do and encourage investigators to partner with you. We developed a proposal creation tool geared towards investigators in an attempt to help bridge that gap called TurboGrants. It's really helped as the investigators see it as their tool and take greater ownership. It provides direction to capture needed data and facilitates communication. The approaches I've heard are things like lunch and learns (or other types of sessions) and better communication via websites. What other things are people trying? -Chris moderas.co Sent from my iPhone > On Jul 13, 2016, at 9:00 AM, Collette L. Ryder <xxxxxx@MAIL.ROCKEFELLER.EDU> wrote: > > Your point is well taken. However, there are instances where we literally BEG to help our investigators, and are rebuffed or ignored. Then the blame falls on us when something is late or incomplete. It's a two-way street. Faculty need to let us help them, too. > > -CR > > Collette L.
