Yes I am aware that the Small Business must submit and the criteria. What I am asking is if a member of our institution starts up a business (not the PD) and that is the business we partner with is it problematic? Usually the PD/PI is a member of the small company, not from your institution, unless there is a special arrangement for your faculty to allow the appointment with the small company, which would mean the institution appointment would decrease.
