Ironic that the title of this workshop is "Democratization of Information . . ." Consenting to this release allows Deere to edit in any fashion anything recorded at the workshop - presentations, comments, your call home from the mezzanine.

I am curious to know if an explanation of why such a form is necessary since this is a request with which we are not familiar. Marjorie Marjorie Forster Assistant Vice President, Research and

These Workshops showcase leading approaches and strategies useful in negotiating sponsored research agreements in specific sectors, provide an excellent training opportunity for newer and experienced university and industry negotiators alike to gain valuable insight and skills relevant to their interface, provide strategies that are based on the UIDP Contract Accords, and discuss new and bold approaches for high value university - industry partnerships.

> The Workshop is highly interactive with a collegial atmosphere that will use a panel approach to exploring scenarios representative of industry-university collaborations focusing on the broad range of issues described in the UIDP Contract Accords. The scenarios will address projects involving product and process development as commercial endpoints as well as process development for use in the manufacturing of products. The Workshop will identify negotiation sticking points that normally occur and provide perspectives on strategies and best practices that can be deployed to facilitate timelier conclusion of negotiations. The Workshop is limited to approximately twenty - five (25) participants in order to maximize the amount of dialogue that takes place during the workshop.
