Subject: [RESADM-L] Deadlines for faculty serving on study sections
An email discussion has just taken place between two faculty members trying
to decide if an NIH proposal should go in as a Multiple PI or not. It was
stated that "a good reason to go in as multiple PIs is that we don't have to
conform to the NIH deadline" (which is June 16) "because I'm on the study
section we can submit by August 1 and still be reviewed with everyone else".
Has anyone ever heard of that before? people on study sections get special
priledges?
