Minimum Experience/Education:  BS/BA degree in science, engineering,
management, business administration or related field with 3-5 years grant
post-award experience.

Essential Job Duties:  This position is responsible for leading all aspects of
post-award support and compliance of external grants and contracts within
the College of Computing and Informatics and will serve as the College’s liaison
between principal investigators (PIs), University offices, and funding agencies
as needed and will serve as the College’s main source of knowledge concerning
all aspects of grant management.

Other Work/Responsibilities: 	This position must work closely with departmental
admins and serves as supervisor for a grants accounting specialist.  Also, this
position will cross train and serve as back up in the absence of the business
manager.  The successful candidate will have exceptional communication and
organizational skills, extensive knowledge of grant management, and the ability
to work well with a diverse population.

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:  A master’s
degree would be highly preferred along with extensive grant post-award
experience, preferably in a research university setting.  Candidates must
possess demonstrated proficiency relative to accountability, advocacy,
communication, customer service, initiative and teamwork.  In addition,
candidates must possess the ability to create specialized training for PIs and
to educate PIs and department admins in grant management and compliance
issues.
