The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is conducting a search for
an Administrator (posting ref. #:  RF-01 0258/1217).

Administrator

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. (RFMH), a not-for-profit
mental health research institution in upper Manhattan, New York City, is
seeking an experienced grants professional to provide general administrative
assistance and strategic support to the Deputy Director of Administration in
the RFMH Business Office.

Duties:  The incumbent will assist in the analysis, monitoring, reporting,
and presentation of fiscal and account information; help to monitor the
financial status of grants, contracts, subcontracts, and cooperative
agreements; help to manage the flow of fiscal and account information
between Grants, Payroll/Personnel and Accounts Payable Departments; serve as
a liaison between the Deputy Director and the department heads reporting to
him; and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  A Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business field; at
least 3 years of experience in a comparable position; knowledge of
accounting and financial practices; proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access;
attention to detail; ability to handle multiple complex tasks; superior
organizational, project management, administrative, and analytical skills;
excellent oral and written communication skills; and ability to maintain
confidentiality of sensitive information, are required.  Administrative
experience in a biomedical research setting, knowledge of grants management
procedures, and knowledge of Oracle systems, would be preferred.

Salary:  $46,175-$51,644 + $1,100 Location Pay; starting salary is
commensurate with education and experience.  The RFMH offers an excellent
benefits package.
