File a ticket with the Help Desk.  They should be able to explain to the PO what needs to be done from the "inside the box" perspective.

Note, the remaining Pos are overloaded, overstressed, and overwhelmed. This might not be something they normally do and/or they may have relied on a grant management specialist type person to make the magic happen before that that person is now gone?

Thank you for your response.  I also thought that the PO had to do something on their end to make this work, but when the PI reached out to them, she was told that there was nothing that they do on their end, and that we should be able to delete.....but as you can see we can't!

Having recently done an NSF award where we ended up doing multiple budget revisions, you need the NSF team to make some changes on their end - and as far as we can tell - ONE change at a time.

Ours was a three-step process
1. Original award was reduced from 1.2M to 1M - straightforward budget revision in Research.gov at time of award 2.  A consultant became a subaward after we reduced to 1M 3.  A Co-PI left OSU and moved to another university - the second subaward.

Has anyone tried to delete subawards during the budget revision process in Research.gov?  We've tried to, but the system is not letting us and indicates that removing subawards is not allowed during the budget revision process (see attached screenshot).   Any guidance you can provide is greatly appreciated!
