Does anyone have any experience negotiating cooperative research agreements with institutions in
China?  I am writing an Agreement of Research Cooperation and need some guidance.  Our general counsel
cautioned me about possible restrictions on exporting technologies to them.   Is there a suggested source
to determine what technologies might be restricted?  I need to point to something that indicates we are
not violating any US law.

I expect I will be ok because the area of research does not involve anything that is readily converted to
weapons or military use.  Its basic science in a pretty benign area of research.
