RESEARCH ASSOCIATE III
Master's degree required, doctoral degree preferred, in one of the physical
sciences or engineering. A minimum of three years successful research
experience in a physical science or engineering is required, with at least
one year in preparing, submitting or reviewing research proposals to
government agencies. Prior experience in a university environment is highly
desirable. Evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills is
required. Evidence of strong interpersonal skills is required, as is
experience in a setting requiring the use of strong interpersonal skills.
These skills include demonstrated effective telephone manner; demonstrated
ability to conduct an interview; demonstrated ability to organize and
conduct a meeting; and demonstrated ability to maintain an ongoing working
relationship with individual faculty. Position is limited to one year with
extension contingent on funding. Submit a resume and cover letter by
