The Division of Sponsored Research at Florida Atlantic University (FAU)
is looking to fill the position of Assistant Director within the
Division.

The Assistant Director maintains and supervises operation of the pre-
and post-award functions of the Division related to the administration
of grants and contracts and will also supervise the post-award
administrative staff to maximize effectiveness and to ensure a high
level of service. Conducts final review and approves funding
applications to ensure adherence to agency guidelines and State and
University policies.

The candidate chosen will assist the Director in policymaking, the
interpretation of federal, state and local regulations and policies and
with developing program direction for the unit.

Qualifications require a master's degree & two years experience or a
bachelor's and four years experience in a sponsored program or research
related setting. This experience must include knowledge of federal
regulations and contract negotiation skills.  The applicant must also
possess adequate supervisory skills.

The salary range for this position extends from $28,240 to $50,000
depending on experience. The deadline for receipt of applications is
