Our faculty are on a nine month contract, but receive health coverage
for 12 months - so the health benefits are prorated and taken out
only during the AY contract period.  If they also teach or are
on a grant during summer months, health insurance is not taken out
during that period, because it has already been taken - therefore, summer
benefits include only workers compensation, Medicare, and retirement benefits.
