Colleagues:
I am interested in identifying institutions that have implemented a program
where faculty are appointed as a part-time liaison between a college and
the sponsored projects office. If anyone has experience with such a model,
I would appreciate hearing from you off-line in order to explore your
assessment of how well the program worked, including such parameters as:
 logistics
 priorities (and who establishes)
 faculty response/administration response
 evaluation
 cost
 focus (strictly sponsored projects, or a broader view of research)
 politics
