The Office of Sponsored Programs of the Children's Research Institute,
Washington, D.C. seeks an individual experienced in grant and contract
management to fill the position of Coordinator, Grants and Contracts
Administration.

Successful candidate will have eight to ten years of progressive
responsibility in a Sponsored Programs or Research Administration Office
in a University or Medical Center setting, and hold a Bachelor's degree in
a related field.

Primary responsibilities will include:
 1.  Pre-award assistance (application and budget preparation) to
faculty of approximately 120 investigators.
 2.  Post-award monitoring of grants awards, to include budget
performance, compliance and reporting functions.

The Office of Sponsored Programs at the Children's Research Institute
currently manages an external funding portfolio of approximately $33M, of
which 70% is provided by federal granting agencies (primarily PHS).

The Children's Research Institute, an entity of the Children's National
Medical Center, is an equal opportunity employer, and offer a competitive

to $55K, depending on the qualifications of the applicant.  The successful
