We have had a Master Agreement in place with GM for the past five years.
It's intellectual property provisions leave a lot to be desired and we are
considering trying to renogotiate these terms when the agreement comes up for
renewal at the end of this year.  Has anyone out there, who is working under
one of these Academic Partnership Master Agreements, negotiated new terms
recently? I would like to hear from you.  Our current agreement gives GM and
its affiliated companies an irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive royalty
free license to university inventions.  Any input would be appreciated.
