Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC), one of the world's leading education
R&D firms, seeks a Grant and Contract Administrator to function as the key
liaison with project directors and staff in the administration of sponsored
research projects from a wide portfolio of federal, state and private funders.
Pre- and post-award responsibilities will include review of proposal budgets;
advising project staff in development of budgets and other administrative
components of proposals; assisting in award negotiations; monitoring post-award
compliance; counseling project directors on sponsor regulations; preparing
financial reports, establishing and maintaining projects in the accounting
system, financial analysis, and review of consultant service contracts and
subcontracts.

Requirements: Should have 2-3 years relevant work experience and be familiar
with budgetary and compliance requirements of major funding agencies. In
addition, should have a demonstrated ability to work effectively with staff and
administrators at all levels, possess excellent oral/written communication
skills, and be competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
Experience with American Fundware accounting software is desired. EDC offers a
