UNCG also takes the client services approach.  I have several
ORS machines loaded with Acrobat, Word and Word Perfect
combinations that allows the PI to bring in or e-mail a file
to me for conversion to PDF format.  As previously noted,
however, the requests are not that frequent.

I have also encouraged PIs and sometimes departments to buy
their own copies of the necessary software.
