Wright State University seeks a full-time Assistant Director in its
office of Research and Sponsored Programs. The Assistant Director will
be primarily responsible for performing pre-award activities, including
budget development, interpretation of sponsor guidelines, review of
final proposals, and negotiation of award terms and conditions.
Additional duties involve finding and disseminating funding information
(both electronically and in hard-copy), training faculty and staff on
the use of electronic funding opportunity resources, overseeing other
training efforts, and supervising one full-time support staff employee.
The successful candidate must possess a Bachelors degree plus 3-5 yrs.
relevant work exp. experience OR a Masters degree plus 1-3 yrs.
relevant work exp. Salary minimum is $36,076/yr plus excellent
