DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH BUDGETS
Evanston Northwestern Healthcare Research Institute is seeking an
exceptional individual to fill the position of Director of Research
Budgets. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer of ENHRI, the
successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects
of an enterprise with over $20 million in sponsored research. The Director
of Research Budgets manages all aspects of pre and post-award financial
activities, as well as development and negotiation of indirect cost rates
and operating budgets for each division. The Director of Research Budgets
maintains oversight to ensure compliance with all institutional, state, and
federal regulations.
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of all aspects
of both pre and post-award sponsored program administration. Knowledge of
electronic research administration is desirable. Well-developed
communication skills, high sense of self-motivation, initiative, and
follow-through are crucial.
Applicants should have at least a Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting or
Business Administration and at least five years experience in financial
management, including federal grants. Experience in grant accounting, OMB
Circulars A-133 and A-21 and federal Cost Account Standards are highly
desirable.
