I'm on a quest to see what's being done out there in research administration
land as to formal training programs for faculty and staff involved in any
portion of the grants and contracts process. I'm not talking so much about
proposal development workshops, but more administrative and procedural
training in preaward, postaward, and compliance areas.
If your institution has a formal training program, is it mandatory? What
topics are covered? What is the structure? How are you determining its
success?
If you respond to me directly (xxxxxx@indiana.edu) I'll post summaries to
the list.
Thanks!
