I have tried to get onto the grants/contracts page as well as link through
institutes, but no luck.  Times out.  No problem getting on any other federal
agency website.

Well, I have what I suspect is a dumb question, and since I can't get to NIH,
maybe someone out there can answer it.  AREA grants have recently been allowed
to be renewed.  Are these competitive renewals or non-competing?  Our award
letters were issued before the change in policy, so they just say no renewals
allowed.
Any help you can offer is appreciated.
