Sorry to those who get this twice- I accidentally pressed send prematurely.

My chairman is serving on a NIH committee that is being tasked with taking a
fresh look at the PHS 398 application packet.  He asked that I gather
suggestions.  If you have a moment, please take a look at the existing PHS
398 packet and offer your suggestions either to the listserve (may stimulate
some discussion) or to me privately.
I welcome comments from those who have little experience or extensive
experience with the 398.  All will be useful.
This is an opportunity to come up with the dream version of the 398 packet.
Think of the questions you have asked or that you have been asked by others
concerning the instructions or forms.
