 You may want to check your F&A agreement Section II. under Treatment
 of Paid Absenses. If it is not specifically listed (probably not) your
 fall back is, if you charge salary while on jury duty to other funds
 then your practice is consistant for all funds by chargeing grants as
 well.

I have looked in vain for a regulation/policy addressing the allowability
of charging an employee's salary (as a direct cost) to a grant/sponsored
project when the employee is on jury duty.  Does anyone know if this is
addressed anywhere?  We are a nonprofit hospital.  I would appreciate
hearing from other institutions as to whether this question has come up and
how it has been handled.
