I've been working on a similar project for a couple of months off and on now. I'd certainly be interested in your handouts. Perhaps that'll be the oomph I need to get finished. I'm using a combination of Word and Excel for both the 5/95 and 4/98 forms, but I have inconsistent printing in different departments. I'm hoping iPDF resolves this issue. Otherwise, I may have to request IS to go throughout the hospital and standardize hardware settings on printers. Thanks for your work and your willingness to share...Bill Bill Caskey, PhD Director, Research & Grants Administration Children's Mercy Hospitals & Clinics 2401 Gillham Road Kansas City, MO 64108 Voice: (816) 234-3879 FAX: 816) 855-1982 E-mail: xxxxxx@cmh.edu This communication is intended only for the use of the addressee. The answer is "Yes" you can change the default information using Exchange. However, I suggest that you change it via the form field options rather than simply typing in your own and saving it. (My default info will always be lurking in the background unless you change the fields.) The regular Exchange package does not give you all of the form field types that I used. In order to have all of the options, you will need to pick up a couple of plug-ins from the Adobe web site. If you want this information, and instructions for installing, please contact me personally rather than using the list. Its not difficult but the explanation is lengthy and not everyone will be interested. If there is enough interest, I can post my handouts from the ERA workshop on creating electronic forms.
