Indirect cost sharing here at the University of Southern Maine is a
joint decision. Any faculty member who wants to provide any cost
sharing of indirect costs beyond what is required or allowable must
make the case to his/her Dean. That justification would then, if
supported by the Dean, be brought to my office for discussion,
modification, and/or final approval.
