Executive Director for Outreach and Sponored Programs

The Director will be responsible for providing sponsored program services to
constituencies of the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business
Administration and The University of Alabama, will act as a facilitator in
the development of external contracts and grants, and will direct the Center
for Business and Economic Research. The Director will be responsible for
coordinating sponsored programs and outreach activities with other UA
divisions. The focus of the activities includes concept development, team
building, proposal writing, and providing general assistance in sponsored
program administration.
Position requires at least five years experience in generating sponsored
projects, as well as excellent leadership, presentation, and quantitative
skills. Master's degree is required, but doctoral degree is preferred, as
is a combination of industry and academic experience.
