Faculty Overload Policy (including multimedia activites)
Sharon Armbrust 01 Feb 1999 15:51 EST
Our university is reviewing its institutional policy regarding faculty
overload and we are interested in how other universities are handling
this. If you have a written policy that you would be willing to
share, please either fax it to me at the number below or send the url
if this information is on your website.
In addition to the traditional faculty overload issues, we are also
interested in those universities that have dealt with faculty overload
and multimedia courses -- developing and managing courses via distance
education on internet, CD ROM or tape. If anyone has tackled this as
yet, or are perhaps in the midst of it, we would very much like to
hear from you, either directly on the list or separately to the e-mail
address or by phone.
In what has become a tradition on this list, I will be glad to provide
a summary response for the list.
We appreciate any responses and any sharing of experiences, thoughts
on this.
