 >POSITION SUMMARY: Administer sponsored project activities in the
Department
 >of International Health and Development. Teach graduate courses in
project
 >design and development, proposal writing, and project
implementation.
 >Participate in project-level operations management. Manage
departmental
 >administrative affairs.
 >
 >QUALIFICATIONS MBA, MPA, JD, or earned doctorate in a relevant
discipline
 >required Significant experience in management of sponsored projects
 >required Strong skills in budgeting and financial management
required
 >Familiarity with FAR, AIDAR, and OMB Circulars A-21, A-110, and
A-133
 >required International work experience preferred Foreign language
skills
 >(especially French or Spanish) preferred

 >KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Participate directly in several projects,
managing
 >operations and logistics. Teach graduate courses (one or two per
year)
 >related to project design and development, proposal writing, and

 >implementation. Represent the Center with outside funding agencies,
 >collaborating organizations, and subcontractors. Provide general
 >administrative oversight of departmental sponsored projects
activities.
 >Train and supervise project managers and project support staff.
Coordinate
 >proposal writing. Assure that project activities are conducted in
 >compliance with University and sponsor policies and procedures.
Manage
 >departmental administrative support functions, including personnel,
payroll
 >and clerical activities. Prepare departmental and center budgets,
and
 >manage departmental finances.
