Bill:
The Office for the Protection from Research Risks has a nice videotape series that goes over the history of human subjects protection. You can request the tapes free of charge through their web page at <http://www.nih.gov/grants/oprr/library_human.htm>.

To request subscription to MCWIRB, send the following message:

SUBSCRIBE MCWIRB Your Name

to the address: xxxxxx@ITS.MCW.EDU

You will then receive a request for further information, and a separate confirmation of your subscription to the list.

RESADMers--

A colleague is looking for articles or books about the history
of ethics regarding human subjects research in this century and in this
country as well as others. Anybody have any suggestions?

Also, could someone send me the address and instructions for the IRB list?
I'll forward it to my colleague and encourage him to sign up for a few days,
those folks should be able to tell him a lot.

Regards, Bill Campbell
