I would like to strongly support the sentiments expressed by Dr.
Paplauskas. It is critically important that industrial interests not be
permitted to suppress information  that may have a negative impact on
its product. It would seem to me that this would be self evident to the
industry as relates to their own PR image. I believe that most
institutions already conform to this policy and I would encourage all to
stand fast in this matter. If there are institutions that yield to
industry's pressures on this, then everyone loses. A right to review and
delay are one thing, a right to disapprove is something else entirely.
