I am interested in reviewing policies from other institutions regarding
equipment maintenance accounts/service centers.  My main focus is to see
how other institutions handle a maintenance account if disposing of the
piece of equipment. What happens to the surplus/deficit in the account?

If I could be directed to web sites which may contain this information
or if someone has a policy to send to me, it would be greatly
appreciated.
