Some time ago, I ask if any of you had a formal process to determine the
level of institutional support that should be given a specific proposal
that took into account both fiscal and non-fiscal factors.  In general,
those of you who responded did not have a formal process.
Unfortunately, in the process of upgrading my computer, I lost your
messages.  I now have a draft document that is out for review and
comment among Deans and VP's.  If any of you would like a copy, let me
know, and I'll attach it to an Email.  I'd appreciate your feedback.  It
will eventually be posted on our Web site when it is finalized.
