Accrued leave is a sticky problem for us as well. Having accounting/payroll
charge salary for leave accrued each month and depositing it in a pool
sounds good. But, don't you effectively charge 100+ % effort to the project
each month, the excess being the number of hours of leave accrued each
month? If the employee takes leave annualy, it balances; but you also would
have no problem at the termination of a project. Can those of you using this
mechanism explain more fully?
