Our services focus on improving our clients' performance, supporting grants management operations, providing package implementation solutions and integrating enterprise-wide technologies. POSITION DESCRIPTION Job Title: Grant Accountant Basic Function and Responsibility Responsible for post award grants accounting activities. These activities include expenditure reconciliation and analysis, preparation of financial reports, and ensuring sponsor compliance. Job Responsibilities * Review and reconcile post award expenditures. * Review expenditures for compliance with sponsor regulations. * Prepare closeout and submission of FSR's and other sponsor required reports to sponsoring agencies. * Review cash transaction reports for NIH, NSF, etc. * Assist in Letter of Credit drawdown process. * Review and process cost transfer requests. * Work with University departmental support staff on grant accounting issues. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent education and experience Experience: Prefer two years accounting experience at a non-profit or academic research institution. Post-award administration experience preferred. Working knowledge of federal financial reporting requirements and NIH/NSF Quarterly cash transaction reports. Working knowledge of OMB Circular A-110 and A-21 Other: Ability to use desktop computer. Working knowledge of spreadsheets Ability to work with minimum supervision. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
