RESADM-L members --
Our institution has identified several positions in the organization which
are
to receive "market adjustment" salary increases. How do the regulations
govern
such an increase for grant-funded positions? (The position in question, in
this
instance, is a half-time clerical position on a federal grant. A merit
increase
was budgeted for and applied, but this market adjustment is in addition to
it.)
My hunch is that this falls under the rule that grant-funded employees must
be
treated consistently with the organiztion's policies for all employees, and
that
the market increase should be "squeezed out" of the grant budget somehow.
Is
this correct?
