I'd be interested in information on the structure of various Sponsored Programs offices. We are currently set up with separate departments for pre-award and post-award activities. The post-award area is further divided into an accounting area and a regulatory area. We feel that this structure can be improved upon, and are considering restructuring. I'd be interested in how others are structured and what you consider to be the benefits as well as drawbacks to such a structure. If you can spare the time, I'd appreciate your brief response to the following questions. Please feel free to respond to me personally, and I will develop a summary to provide to the group.
