We have recently subscribed to IRIS through the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  The IRIS Database maintains funding opportunity information on federal and private sponsors in the sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities and is availabe on a subscription basis to colleges, universities, and selected other non-profit insitutions for a yearly fee.  It's to early to tell whether our PIs are taking advantage of the service on their own, however, it has been very useful to me in conducting searches for individual requests, and in compiling our monthly "Funding Opportunities" newsletter.
