We subscribe to IRIS, and have found it to be effective both in terms of
conducting individual searches for faculty and giving faculty/trainees
access to a searchable electronic database.  I have no data on how
satisfied faculty are with the "automatic" electronic notification
feature; there probably aren't many using it.  We are seriously
considering joining COS.
