Staff Research Associate II
School of Public Health: Maternal & Child Health
$30,200 - 45,400 (full-time rate)

Job Duties: 50 - 100% variable position. Coordinate the development
of Maternal and Child Health continuing education courses both in an
on-line/Internet based interactive format and a face- to-face workshop
format. Coordinate the cost study associated with the 2 course formats.
Assist in literature reviews. Assist with cost-effectiveness calculations
for the Bolivian health system and reproductive health interventions
in other developing countries. Prepare progress reports and grant
renewals as needed. Update/maintain project web page.
Required qualifications: Familiarity with epidemiology, cost analysis,
reproductive health issues, family planning and contraceptives, health
planning and management. Experience with health problems in developing
countries. Demonstrated editing and oral/written communication skills and
familiarity with preparation of scientific papers for publications.
Organizational skills and ability to work with students and faculty.
Preferred qualifications: Advance completion of academic preparation
in MPH with 2 - 3 years experience, or equivalent expertise and experience.
Experience living in a developing country.
