Forgive me if we have had this discussion already.  At a meeting yesterday,
some investigators suggested that we host a "research day" in which our PIs
present posters, abstracts, etc. to one another and possibly to reps from
industry as well.  Related suggestions included awarding prizes and
particularly focusing on fellows and junior faculty.

Are there other teaching hospitals or research institutes out there doing
something similar?  How is it received and regarded by the faculty?
