The Office of the Vice President for Finance at Ohio University has

MANAGER, GRANTS AND CONTRACTS ACCOUNTING
This position is available July 1, 1998.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Minimum qualifications are a bachelor's degree in business with a
strong background in accounting and three to five years experience in
the field with two years supervisory experience.  A background in the
field of higher education research administration is preferred.
Strong managerial, communication, and organizational skills are
necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Responsibilities include managing the post-award
activities and facilitating the University's involvement in all
sponsored programs; financial and expenditure reporting; keeping
abreast of federal and state regulations; development of the indirect
cost rate study; supervising the daily accounting operations of
post-award activity; cash management; budget projections; and
overseeing audits conducted by sponsoring agencies.

SALARY:  Starting salary will be $36,000 - $43,000, commensurate with
experience.  Ohio University offers an excellent benefits package.
