 PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
 (Program Specialist)

The University of Arkansas has a position available for a person with at
least a master's degree to work in sponsored programs administration.  The
person will assist faculty in developing proposals for extramural funding,
manage and improve a grant-source information and dissemination system,
manage the department's network, web page and computer resources, and work
in other areas of sponsored programs administration.  Experience in
proposal writing and development is required.  The successful candidate
must be very skilled in various PC software programs and be able to use the
Internet effectively.     Excellent verbal, writing, and interpersonal
relations and communications skills are also required.

The salary is negotiable.  The University offers an excellent fringe
benefits package.
