GRANT AND CONTRACT ACCOUNTING
Illinois Institute of Technology has two career opportunities available in the
Project Accounting office. This office is responsible for the post-award
accounting and administration of grants and contracts. Awards total
approximately $20 million annually from government and private sources. Duties
include review of awards and setting up projects, approving expenses, preparation
of financial reports, invoices and letters of credit. Preparation of effort
reports requires detailed analysis of payroll documents.
Senior Accountant - requires an accounting degree and grant/contract or
equivalent experience, knowledge of agency regulations and federal circulars.
Will assign/coordinate work of accounting staff.
Accountant - accounting degree preferred, may substitute significant experience
in this field.
