16TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE ASSOCIATION OF MANAGEMBNT/
 INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MANAGEMENT

 CHICAGO, IL, AUGUST 5-8, 1998

 *****************************************************

Dear Colleagues:

There still is time to make your contributions to the 16th Annual Conference
of the Association of Management/International Association of Management
(AoM/IAoM) which will be held in Chicago, August 5-8, 1998. To learn more
about this year's meeting, visit our web site which resides at
www.aom-iaom.com. There you will find the call for papers, guidelines for
submission, information about the structure of the AoM/IAoM with its 12
divisions which represent major fields of specialization in management such
as organizational, human resources, health care, educational and technology
management as well entrepreneurship, leadership, research methods and policy
analyses. In addition, the AoM/IAoM has three international regions (Europe,
Latin America, and Asia/Pacific and yearly attracts an international group
of attendees.

The newly established AoM/IAoM Research Methods Division currently consists
of 10 tracks which are listed on our web site under "Divisions". At this
time, we are particularly interested in receiving abstracts which reflect
current work in progress, panels and workshop. Full length papers will, of
course, be given full consideration as well.

Go to www.aom-iaom.com for more information.

In addition to submitting an abstract or proposal for a workshop, panel or
symposium, there are many opportunities to participate in the AoM/IAoM - by
assuming leadership positions in the divisions and international regions,
positions on the boards of the five journals published by Maximilian Press
Publishers for the AoM/IAoM or heading new initiatives the AoM/IAoM is
undertaking. You find that information by going to various pages on our web
site such as "Leadership Opportunities", "Publications", and "President's
Circle".

I also invite you to check out our 13 listservs and subscribe (www.aom-iaom/
listerservers) to any one list or more you are interested in. Finally, a
guest book is available, sign in and comment on your visit to the home pages
or leave some information about yourself.

If you have any questions, please call me at (804) 320-5771 or send me an e-mail
(xxxxxx@mindspring.com). All submissions tendered under the provisions of this
call should send to me directly.
