<bigger>I am interested in learning how other institutions have addressed
the issue of whether it is appropriate for a faculty or staff
investigator to have an equity interest, consulting agreement or
management involvement with an outside entity that also funds the
investigator's research activities.

If your institution has taken a position about these potential conflicts
of interest, I would appreciate receiving a copy of any guidelines
drafted to address these issues.
