PRINCIPAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
(Senior Level Position)

The Evaluation Center at Western Michigan University invites
applications for the position of Principal Research Associate.  This
position will generate new  grants and contracts and will manage
field research for a variety of evaluation projects.  Successful
candidates must have an earned doctorate in education or related
field, extensive experience in project management and in working with
educational and funding agencies, strong analytical and writing
skills, and successful research experience.  The incumbent must have
a successful and demonstrable record of obtaining grants and
contracts, especially at the federal level, in one or more areas of
interest to The Evaluation Center, i.e., evaluation of education,
community development, military, personnel evaluation, program
evaluation.  Prior experience in K-12 teaching or administration is
desirable.  Appointment is a 2-year term with possibility for
renewal.  Western Michigan University is classified by the Carnegie
Foundation as a Doctoral I institution and is the only
graduate-intensive university in western Michigan.
