The Associate Director will be responsible for assisting the Director in
the overall management of C&G administrative activities including: review
and approval of proposals; negotiation of awards; development and
negotiation of subcontracts; planning and development of C&G information
systems and ERA initiatives; development and implementation of initiatives
to enhance relationships with the campus community; and other duties as
assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:=20
A Master=92s degree and four years directly related professional work
experience; or a Bachelor=92s degree and six years of directly related
professional work experience.  Requirements:  Experience with
sponsored research administration to include proposal/budget preparation,
negotiations, contracting/subcontracting and supervising; knowledge of
state federal and sponsoring agency rules, policies and laws;  computer
experience to include use of databases; ability to communicate effectively
verbally and in writing.=20
